Community Guidelines

FieldFinder is a community of players who share a love for sports. To keep our platform welcoming and safe for everyone, we ask that all members follow these guidelines.

1. Be Respectful

Treat all players with courtesy and respect, both on and off the field. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, hate speech, and personal attacks are not tolerated. This applies to match chat, profile content, and any interaction on the platform.

2. Show Up When You Commit

When you join a match, other players count on you being there. If you can't make it, leave the match as early as possible so someone else can take your spot. Repeated no-shows affect your reliability score and may result in restrictions on your account.

3. Play Fair

Good sportsmanship is at the heart of pickup sports. Play by the agreed rules, respect the skill levels of all players, and keep competition friendly. Dangerous or reckless play is not acceptable.

4. No Spam or Fake Matches

Only create matches you genuinely intend to host. Do not create duplicate matches, use misleading titles or descriptions, or post content unrelated to sports. Promotional or commercial content is not allowed without prior approval.

5. Respect Venues and Rules

When organizing or attending a match, follow the rules of the venue. Leave the field or court in the condition you found it. If a venue requires a permit or booking, ensure you have proper authorization before hosting a match there.

6. Report Bad Actors

If you encounter someone who violates these guidelines, use the report feature on their profile or in the match. Reports are reviewed confidentially. Do not engage in retaliation — let our moderation process handle it.

7. Keep Chat Appropriate

Match chat is for coordinating games and connecting with fellow players. Keep conversations relevant, civil, and free of profanity, slurs, or inappropriate content. Messages that violate these guidelines may be filtered automatically, and repeat offenders may have their accounts suspended.

8. Protect Privacy

Do not share other players' personal information (phone numbers, addresses, photos) without their consent. Respect the privacy of all community members.

Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Warning from the moderation team
• Temporary suspension of your account
• Permanent ban from FieldFinder

The severity of the action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate to maintain a safe and positive community.
